The way to fry eggs with pesto sauce instead of olive oil is shared by nutritionist Amy Wilichowski, attracting many followers and implementation.

For a taste, try combining the bagel with pesto eggs and butter. Foodies can also use sandwiches, English muffins or regular breads instead. Bacon, smoked salmon or sausage are all suitable for you to add to the dish as you like.



A baguette topped with sesame
2 eggs
One tablespoon pesto sauce
Half an avocado
Half a lemon
2 tablespoons cream cheese
One tablespoon of butter
20g lettuce
Salt, pepper
Parmesan cheese


Step 1:

Grate the crushed lemon zest.
Add the lemon zest and half of the lime juice to the cream cheese, then season with salt and pepper.
Cut the avocado in half, cut it into slices and drizzle the lemon juice on top.
Cut the bagel in half.

Step 2:

Heat half of the butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
Add the bagels to the pan and lightly toast all sides.

Step 3:

Crack eggs into a bowl, add pesto and beat well, season with salt and pepper to taste.
Add remaining butter to the pan. Once the butter has melted, pour the egg mixture into the pan and wait for about 3 minutes to cook, or until the bottom of the eggs has solidified, then fold in half. Let the eggs sit on the hot pan for about a minute.

Step 4:

For a finishing touch, add lettuce to the base of the bagel, then top with parmesan cheese. Place fried egg on top, spread sliced ​​avocado over egg. Spread lemon cream cheese on the remaining slice of bagel and sandwich the fillings and you’re good to go.
