And Carol Vorderman did not disappoint on Thursday (March 16), as the former Countdown star posed up a storm at Cheltenham Racecourse.
It comes after the beloved festival decided to scrap is strict dress code for the first time in its 200-year reign – but the maths whizz made sure to bring the glamour for the star-studded event.

For the third day of the event at the gorgeous Gloucestershire venue, the 62-year-old telly favourite enhanced her ageless beauty with a timeless ensemble.

It’s fair to say the mum-of-two looked nothing short of sensational as she worked her best angles for the paparazzi in an aqua blue coat which featured a dramatic fur collar.
She layered her statement winter coat over a black T-shirt which she teamed with a pair of black skintight leggings.
The mathematician elevated the look with a pair of black heeled boots and tied the look together with a dramatic black belt that cinched in her waist and emphasised her hourglass figure.

Carol accessorised her ensemble with a pair of black suede gloves and added a designer teal handbag to house all her essential items.
The TV star oozed confidence as she poured her killer curves into the chic ensemble as she worked her best angles for the camera.
For the star-studded event, the TV personality styled her honey blonde locks into loose beachy waves which cascaded over her shoulders and perfectly framed her face.

She completed the look with a full face of glamorous makeup, which celebrated her glowing golden tan with a pinch of bronzer and a soft smokey eye.
This historic society event – which dates back to the early 19th century – has announced a new “inclusive” dress code this year which organisers hope will make spectators feel “confident and at ease” during their springtime event.
This means dresses, heels and hats are no longer mandatory as event executives hope to attract a younger crowd to the venue with jeans and trainers now part of the dress code.

Oscars viewers were left confused after the late Lisa Marie Presley and a number of other celebrities were missing from the In Memoriam segment.
During a touching tribute, which saw musician Lenny Kravitz perform, the Oscars honoured the lives of huge Hollywood icons including Ray Liotta, James Caan and Raquel Welch.
Grease icon John Travolta also paid tribute to his late co-star Olivia Newton-John during the segment, leaving viewers at home in tears during his beautiful speech.

However, some viewers took to social media to point out that the In Memoriam section omitted a number of huge names – including Lisa Marie Presley.

“The #Oscars lost me when Lisa Marie Presley was not mentioned in the ‘In Memoriam’,” said one viewer.
They were left even more confused that Lisa was left out of the segment, as the biopic of her father Elvis Presley’s life was nominated for multiple awards at the ceremony.
“Lisa Marie Presley not being included in the In Memoriam section of the #Oscars while her dad’s movie is nominated for SO many awards is astonishing,” said one viewer.

A second agreed, saying: “In Memoriam at the #Oscars doesn’t even show Lisa Marie Presley. A big star with her father’s movie going for Best Picture and she doesn’t even get mentioned. I get everyone can’t be shown but a star as famous as her deserved to be shown.”
Viewers pointed out that she was not the only star missing from the segment, as Anne Heche, Goodfellas actor Paul Sorvino, Gilbert Gottfried, Estelle Harris, Leslie Jordan and John Aniston also did not appear as part of the In Memoriam.
“I can’t believe the #Oscars In Memoriam omitted Lisa-Marie Presley, Leslie Jordan, Anne Heche,” said one fan.

However prior to the ceremony, Lisa-Marie was remembered by the stars of Elvis, including Austin Butler who told Entertainment Tonight that he was “carrying a lot of her with me tonight.”
He paid a sweet tribute to Lisa, saying: “It’s just part of that profound privilege that I feel to relate to them in some way.
“Lisa was such an extraordinary woman. The times that I spent with her were some of the greatest gifts of my life. And to now be able to carry on her legacy in this way, I feel profoundly on it.”

In a separate interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Austin also added that he has fond memories of spending time with Lisa Marie, and that “nothing will ever top” seeing her and mum Priscilla after they watched the Elvis biopic- saying that he wished Lisa Marie was there to celebrate with them at the Oscars.
“The thing for me was just honoring the life of this man and his family. And that’s why those moments when Lisa Marie and Priscilla [Presley] got to see the film and then I first saw them after… nothing I would do would ever top that.
“And especially with Lisa Marie not being here with us. I just wish she was here to celebrate today with us.”

Shakira put her famous curves front and centre on The Tonight Show when she slipped into a see-through top and leather chaps.
The 46-year-old songstress showed her ex Gerard Pique what he was missing when she performed her track TQG, which is about him, on the US talk show.
With revenge mode activated, Shakira took to the stage in New York for her first live performance of the song, which is somewhat of a diss track about her ex.

She could be seen shaking her stuff in her sizzling outfit, which featured a tiny strip of fabric across her chest to keep everything where it was supposed to be.

Down below, she wore some high-cut leather shorts which had leather chaps attached to add some extra sex appeal to the look.
Her long caramel blonde tresses were styled in loose waves and they cascaded down her front as she sang her record-breaking song.
Speaking to host Jimmy Fallon, Shakira said she the song had been a “healthy way to channel her emotions”, explaining she’d had to “put up with so much crap”.

The hitmaker shares two children her her ex Gerard, however they split after he was allegedly unfaithful during their relationship.
It is believed that her song TQG makes a number of references to Gerard and his new girlfriend Clara Chia Marti.
One lyric, translated to English as “I only make music, sorry that it splashed you” is “Yo solo hago música, perdón que te salpique”, which is a play on Gerard’s surname.

She also sings: “I’m worth two of 22 / You traded a Ferrari for a Twingo / You traded a Rolex for a Casio.”
This is thought to be a dig at Clara, who is 23 but would have been 22 when it is believed that Gerard started seeing her.
It’s also a reference to footballer Gerard’s goal celebration, as he forms a two with his hands as a nod to both his and Shakira’s February 2 birthday.
The track has broken 14 Guinness World Records since its release, including most streamed Latin Track on Spotify in 24 hours, with more than 14million streams, and most viewed Latin track on YouTube in 24 hours, with 63m.

In a video shared by Rory on Twitter, Hit-Boy can be seen rapping inside a recording studio while name-dropping his fellow record producers on his new freestyle.
AceShowbiz –Hit-Boy takes shots at fellow producers on a new freestyle. Among those who get called out by the Grammyy Award nominee are Metro Boomin, Southside, DJ Mustard and Hitmaka.
In a video shared by Rory on Twitter, Hit-Boy can be seen rapping inside a recording studio. “I don’t really know dude, he seem like a cool cat/ But I never once heard Metro Boomin do boom-bap,” he says of Metro.
“I never heard a Southside beat without an 808 in it/ HB in drunk driver mode, I swerve in every lane with it,” he says of Southside. He then attacks Mustard, “I f**k with Mustard, he could make that ratchet shit with his eyes closed/ But now I’m starting to wonder, can that n***a chop soul?”
He then turned his attention to Hitmaka aka Yung Berg, who instigated the beef when he claimed he was hotter than him. “I just seen Yung Berg spoke on the wave / I should do him like Trick Trick and snatch hit out his name,” Hit-Boy, who is behind hits for Nas, Drake, and Jay-Z, quips.

A rapper who walked out of Lidl pushing 100 bananas in his trolley has become an unlikely guru for fruit lovers.
It’s fair to say independent London-based artist Bushrod has something of an alternative approach to self-promotion.
Followers of the hip-hop artist will now know him as a rising food critic, even if that only extends to comparing curved yellow fruits from Tesco to Waitrose.

His recently revealed fanaticism of bananas is not quite as random as it sounds, rather it goes some way in explaining just one of the brilliantly creative scenes in his new music video.

Bushrod told the Daily Star how laid-back single Open Ocean touches on his personal transition from small town living to the Big Smoke which has left him feeling “isolated and lonely at times”
And the shot of him lying among a floor of bananas?
“I bought 100 and it came to £14.28. That’s a pretty good bargain if you ask me,” the witty wordsmith said.
Ever the professionals, however, the Lidl cashier who scanned each fruit appeared unfazed by the entire transaction.

Bushrod explained: “Well, I thought with having 100 bananas on the conveyer belt, the staff may have been wondering what was going on but funnily enough, the staff didn’t bat an eyelid.
“They did have to weigh each individual banana on the scales though, which did take a bit of time!”
He continued: “Generally speaking, my music videos are always inspired by the song. I always like to include a bit of personality and humour into my art – capturing real life human emotions is an important aspect for me.
“I love bananas, so it was only right that I had to include bananas into the video. I also made my own banana stickers too – I think just having fun with the creative side of the video makes it enjoyable for me.”

It appears Bushrod who’s now launched bushrodsbananas.com, has since found himself inundated with likeminded memes from fans.
He continued: “Funnily enough, I get a lot of DM’s from people sending me banana memes, every time someone sees a banana related post they decide to send it to me for some reason – not sure why, maybe it’s because I’m a banana addict.”
Bushrod’s movement in the banana scene continues to blossom with the release of branded T-shirts and a freestyle rap but ultimately it’s Open Ocean making the biggest waves.
He added: “The response has been really overwhelming. Spotify have added the track to their New Music Friday playlist which was a nice surprise! Interestingly, people really love the bananas featured in the video, as well as the puppy – those two seem to be peoples favourites haha.”

Mystic Meg has died aged 80 after suffering from flu.
The astrologist, real name Margaret Lake, was admitted to St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, London with flu.
She died at 3:45am on Thursday, March 9, as her agent of 34 years, Dave Shapland, confirmed the news to The Sun and praised the “most famous astrologer”.
He said: “Nobody came close to Meg in that respect. She was followed by millions in this country and also around the world.”
Dave praised Meg for becoming a part of the “English language”, adding that people will often respond: “Who do you think I am, Mystic Meg?”, adding: “It shows what an impact she made.”

Tributes have poured in from celebrities across the UK with TV favourite Piers Morgan writing: “Mystic Meg was Britain’s most famous astrologer and a fascinatingly mysterious lady who loved her work with a passion but was rarely seen or heard in public.”
Piers, who worked with her at the News of the World, said: “She was extraordinarily professional in everything she did. A master of her very popular craft.”
Fans also took to Twitter to share their heartbreak of her death, writing: “Saddened to hear of the passing of Mystic Meg. I can always remember her doing the lottery predictions on the national lottery draw on a Saturday night my thoughts are with her family and friends. RIP Mystic Meg.”

Another said: “Ahhh sad news about Mystic Meg, RIP we’re all going through our last readings from her now.”
Mystic Meg was the face of National Lottery after sharing her winning predictions with the nation each week from 1994 to 2000.
During her time working on News of the World, the favourite brought in a whopping £200,000 a year pay cheque.
Her predictions soon brought her to the attention of the National Lottery – and she previously told the New Statesman: “Just before the Lottery started, I got the big money rune.

“On that same day, I got a call from National Lottery Live, asking me to make a prediction on the first show.”
She added that the big money rune was for other people, and after correctly predicting facts about the winner, she was asked back to the show.

After years of being away from the limelight, Ed Sheeran has announced a new album (“-” AKA Subtract) and a string of tour dates. The iconic British singer-songwriter has poured his heart out for his fifth album, and the final record in the Mathematics series. After kicking off his music with “+” (Plus) in 2011, he has rinsed through the maths symbols with unique styles and genres. He recently opened up about how his new album is full of woe and trauma after his wife was diagnosed with a tumour while pregnant, and one of his close friends died suddenly.
The newly-announced shows will have Ed playing in some of the country’s biggest arenas as soon as this month, before playing a few more concerts in April. In it, he’ll be playing a few oldies, while no doubt giving fans an insight into what is to come with his next album, Subtract. The album comes out in May, but tickets for the concert come out this week.
Thankfully, there are a few presale events going on this week, so fans can get early access if they know where to look. Here’s all the information you need.
When do Ed Sheeran presale tickets go on sale?
Ed Sheeran concert tickets have a few different presale events kicking off this week.
The biggest presale event comes directly from Ed himself. He will be releasing his tickets tomorrow, Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at 9am. These presale tickets will only be available to people who have preordered Ed’s new album, Subtract, however. His album can be grabbed from his official website, along with any merchandise or physical versions of the album. After that, a code or portal will be released to fans who have preordered the album, allowing them to grab tickets there ahead of general release.
There is also a Three presale event kicking off on Friday, March 10, 2023, at 9am. This presale event is a little different to other presale events, however, as it goes live at the same time as the general onsale release. This means tickets will be largely available to everyone in the UK, but a smaller section of tickets will also be available to those who subscribe to the Three phone network. Once Three users have grabbed their presale code or portal link, tickets will be available at various retailers, including Ticketmaster.
Some venues, including the Glasgow OVO Arena, will be holding their own presale events. The OVO presale also kicks off on Friday, March 10, 2023, at 9am – the same time as the general onsale release. Just like the Three release, this presale event will be available to fans who have signed up for the specific OVO newsletter or subscription and will have exclusive access to tickets that are not available during the general onsale release.
If fans miss out on grabbing presale tickets, there will be one final chance to get tickets during the general onsale ticket release.
When do Ed Sheeran tickets come out?
Ed Sheeran general onsale tickets go on sale from Friday, March 10, 2023, at 9am.
These tickets will be available to everyone who is looking to purchase tickets for Ed Sheeran’s new UK tour and will be available at a number of retailers.
Ticketmaster leads the pack with ticket sales and will be releasing a number of tickets in line with the general onsale release. Fans can grab their tickets by clicking this link.
Live Nation may also be releasing their own batch of tickets. While the worldwide ticket retailer has an Ed Sheeran page live, there are currently no dates on the page. If they release tickets, they will be available here, but stay tuned to Express.co.uk to see if things change.
Perhaps the most important aspect of buying Ed Sheeran tickets comes down to the strategy. Fans should work out their ticket buying strategy well in advance to ensure they don’t come away disappointed after failing to grab tickets. First of all, it is recommended to sign up to your ticket-selling website of choice well in advance of the Ed Sheeran ticket release time. It would also help to input your credit card details into your site of choice if possible, hopefully providing a swift and smooth checkout experience.
When tickets do come out – whether it’s presale or general onsale – fans should get into the digital ticket queue and stay there. It is extremely important that you do NOT refresh your screen or move away from the webpage, otherwise you may lose your spot in the queue and your chance of getting tickets, as well.

When is Ed Sheeran’s new album out?
Ed Sheeran’s new album, Subtract, will hit store shelves on May 5, 2023. This is two years after he released his fourth album, “=” (Equals), which arrived in 2021.
After announcing the release of Subtract, Ed released a lengthy statement about what the album was about, and how he struggled to bring it to life after suffering a year of tragedy. Speaking about his wife’s illness, his friend’s death, and his 2022 plagiarism court battle, he said he has been trying to create a “perfect acoustic album”.
Ed said: “At the start of 2022. A series of events changed my life, my mental health, and ultimately the way I viewed music and art. Writing songs is my therapy. It helps me make sense of my feelings. I wrote without thought of what the songs would be, I just wrote whatever tumbled out. And in just over a week, I replaced a decade’s worth of work with my deepest darkest thoughts.
“Within the space of a month, my pregnant wife got told she had a tumour, with no route to treatment until after the birth. My best friend Jamal, a brother to me, died suddenly, and I found myself standing in court defending my integrity and career as a songwriter. I was spiralling through fear, depression and anxiety. I felt like I was drowning, head below the surface, looking up but not being able to break through for air.”
On the album’s completion, he added: “This album is purely that. It’s opening the trapdoor into my soul. For the first time I’m not trying to craft an album people will like, I’m merely putting something out that’s honest and true to where I am in my adult life. This is last February’s diary entry and my way of making sense of it. This is Subtract.”

Alesha Dixon has fuelled rumours of a hidden feud between the Britain’s Got Talent judges after completing their UK tour for the upcoming series.
Back in January, Bruno Tonioli replaced long-standing judge David Walliams on the ITV talent show after a report revealed the comic had made disrespectful comments about the contestants on the show.
The Breathe Slow singer, 44, first joined the panel alongside the Little Britain star more than 10 years ago back in 2012.

And it appears as though the rest of the judges are still adjusting to their new addition to the team, after the singer hinted the star was “strange” when they first started filming.

On Saturday (March 4), the raven-haired beauty appeared on Saturday Kitchen where she spilled the beans on what fans can expect from the new series set to launch later this Spring.
She revealed: “Being the family that we were for 10 years, it felt strange at the beginning.
“It’s like a new normal, a new energy. But Bruno did fantastically well.
“I think it’s quite difficult coming in as the newbie but he came with all his energy and pizzazz and the audience loved him.”

As well as Alesha, Bruno also sits alongside the two remaining original judges Amanda Holden, 52, and Simon Cowell, 63.
Eagle-eyes fans will remember that this is not Alesha’s first time sitting on a judging panel with Bruno after the pair worked together on Strictly Come Dancing between 2007 and 2011.
The sat behind the desk for three series on the BBC One ballroom competition where they judged stars dance moves each week.

But it’s fair to say things are completely different on the new series of Britain’s Got talent as the former Mis-Teeq star revealed how the talent show’s major changes this year.
She went on: “We had eight golden buzzers this year, which we’ve never had on any series. But because the talent was that outstanding, Bruno pressed it within the first 10 to 15 seconds of the act.

After a career sharing the stage with rock legends including Queen, The Who and Sir Rod Stewart, Susie Webb is setting herself up as a private detective after discovering her sleuthing skills by accident.
When her teenage son’s bicycle was stolen, the songwriter not only tracked it down but unmasked a gang of crooks handling stolen goods.
And when 10 diners ran off from a restaurant without paying, she traced them and identified one of the culprits.
Susie, 48, of Barnes, south-west London said: “Ever since I was a young girl I’ve been fascinated by private detectives and wanted to be one.”
Her big chance came three years ago when her son Archie’s £550 bike was stolen. The vocalist found it for sale on eBay, together with other stolen items.

Her next case came at her favourite restaurant when a group fled owing hundreds of pounds.
She teamed up with Aspect, a property maintenance firm whose knowledge of the area helped her to identify one of the group.
She now plans to use her skills as an investigator as well as an influencer on her website.

And she admitted it “can’t be easy” having a mum in the public eye.
The pop star added: “But I’d never do anything that is not tasteful or that they’d really be embarrassed about. They are so proud and they are my biggest champion.”

It comes after Louise admitted she keeps her Sexiest Woman awards in her downstairs toilet – and that her son hides them when his mates come over to their house.
She told host Kate Thornton: “I went to pick that award up pregnant – eight months. I wore a green dress and I looked like a big Granny Smith apple!
“I don’t know what possessed me to even agree to go and pick up that award at eight months pregnant.

“I actually have those awards in the downstairs toilet today! And my 14-year-old puts them flat when he has his friends round.
“No jokes! He literally puts them down flat, he’s like ‘No one needs to see them! Why do we have to have them in the downstairs toilet?'”
Louise was voted Sexiest Woman of the Decade by FHM in 2004.
She shot to fame as part of the girl band Eternal alongside Kelle Bryan and sisters Easther and Vernie Bennett before becoming a solo artist.
